Terms of use
The short version. Recording and editing are free. Pro costs €12 a month or €99 a year, VAT included, renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime. Your guides belong to you and stay on your computer. Only record what you are allowed to record.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the SuperBusy Guides Chrome extension, its server features and this website (together, the "service"), provided by Marpi FZC LLC, Company no. 4100431, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trading as SuperBusy ("we", "us"). By installing the extension or creating an account you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
2. The service
Free includes recording, the editor, Rewrite with AI on supported computers, voice samples, copying steps as text and backup files.
Pro adds Google voiceover with an allowance of 60 voiceover minutes per calendar month, and exporting video, GIF and the interactive HTML player.
Rewrite with AI depends on the AI built into Chrome and only works on computers and browser versions that support it.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email and a one-time code. Keep access to that email address secure; anyone who can read it can sign in. One account is for one person.
4. Pro subscription and billing
- Prices are €12 per month or €99 per year and include VAT where it applies. Stripe processes payments.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime in the extension under Settings, Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it keeps failing, Pro ends and you return to Free.
- If we change the price, we tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal. You can cancel before it applies.
5. Refunds and cancellation rights
If you are not happy, email us within 14 days of your first Pro payment and we will refund it in full.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
6. Voiceover allowance
The 60-minute allowance resets on the first day of each calendar month and does not carry over. When it runs out, new voiceovers pause until the reset; existing audio and every other feature keep working. To keep costs predictable for everyone, we may pause voiceover briefly if overall usage is unusually high. We may also limit accounts that send automated or excessive requests.
7. Your content
You own your guides, screenshots, captions and exports. They are stored on your computer, so keep backups; we cannot recover a guide we never had.
You are responsible for what you record and share. Only record systems and information you are allowed to, and use Hide area before sharing personal data of customers or colleagues. For voiceovers you give us permission to send the voiceover text to our provider solely to produce the audio.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, collect other people's personal data without a lawful basis, try to get around the voiceover allowance or payment, reverse engineer or overload our servers, or resell access to our server features.
9. AI and voice output
Captions rewritten with AI and generated voiceovers can contain mistakes. Review a guide before you share it.
10. Third-party services
Parts of the service rely on Google Chrome, Google Cloud, Supabase and Stripe. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms apply to your use of them.
11. Changes and availability
We improve the service over time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of the current period. We aim to keep server features available but can't promise uninterrupted service.
12. Our rights
The extension, website, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may use the extension for your own guides, including commercial ones; you may not copy or redistribute the extension itself.
13. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data you didn't back up, or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the extension at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
